Platform Engineer
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Platform Engineer who thrives at the intersection of complexity and creativity. In this role, you’ll help build the infrastructure, scaffolding, and connective tissue that powers our AI-driven platform — and the consumer experiences layered on top of it. From APIs and SDKs to data systems and compliance layers, you’ll architect and implement the operational backbone behind products spanning AI, blockchain, and big data, used by clients around the globe.
You’ll need to be endlessly curious, multi-disciplinary, and comfortable working across a wide range of technologies. One day you might be implementing privacy-preserving mechanisms to protect sensitive data; the next, designing a developer-friendly SDK or integrating a cutting-edge AI capability. This isn’t a narrow role — you’ll touch multiple parts of the system, solve cross-domain challenges, and help build the platform’s core foundation.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable backend systems primarily using TypeScript (Node.js)
Build APIs and internal platform services that support cross-functional product teams
Build AI orchestration layers, agents and intelligent data pipelines
Collaborate closely with AI, data, and protocol engineers to enable shared infrastructure and reusable components
Optimize performance, reliability, and developer ergonomics across the stack
Contribute to system architecture discussions and define best practices
Improve our CI/CD workflows, developer tooling, and infrastructure automation
Iterate rapidly and ship high-quality software in a fast-paced, startup environment
Requirements
5+ years of backend engineering experience (ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment)
Expert proficiency in TypeScript, with strong experience in Node.js-based systems
Solid understanding of API design, microservices, and event-driven architecture
Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable systems from scratch
Comfortable using AI tools, IDEs, and co-pilots to accelerate development workflows
Comfortable with ambiguity, with a strong bias toward action and simplicity
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
Bonus Qualifications
Familiarity with modern AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Transformers, RAG systems)
Experience working with EVM chains, smart contracts, or cryptographic systems
Exposure to front-end frameworks like React, and an understanding of full-stack tradeoffs
